Scope of services:

Health & Safety Services was contracted with Garden Commercial to perform the asbestos investigation at the Former Exxon Research and Engineering Company in Linden, NJ.  This facility consisted of approximately 8 buildings ranging in size from a 200 SF 1 story Fire Shed to an 180,000 SF 6 Story Research Building.

The building was thoroughly investigated and all areas assessed.  The appropriate sampling was performed at the site for suspect materials.  Upon completion of the investigation, the Asbestos Containing Materials were quantified and an estimate for removal of the Asbestos materials was submitted to Garden Commercial.  Health & Safety Services also designed bidding documents for the project.

Upon completion of the building investigation and bidding documents, asbestos removal commenced at the site.   All asbestos material was removed on schedule and no change orders were issued nor were any additional material discovered.
